Child & Adolescent Therapy

Child and adolescent Psychotherapy is a type of psychological counseling that can help children and adolescents learn new ways to manage the challenges of growing up, including difficulties with anger, sadness, anxiety, social withdrawal and school performance.

At Capital Therapy, this counseling is provided only by licensed psychologists, social workers, and mental health counselors, with experience in child and/or adolescent treatment, in consultation with a board-certified child psychiatrist. This form of treatment may involve talking, play, and education and always involves parents and caregivers in the process.
