Individual Therapy

Individual psychotherapy is a type of psychological treatment that involves one-on-one conversation with a licensed practitioner of the healing arts who has training and experience in this form of counseling.

Individual psychotherapy has been proven to resolve difficulties with depression, anxiety, anger and other emotional challenges. Therapists may use techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy, coping skills training, interpersonal exploration and motivational interviewing. Individuals may start to notice the positive effects of this therapy in as few as 5-10 sessions.

At Capital Therapy, this treatment is provided only by licensed psychologists, social workers and mental health counselors with experience in providing individual treatment to a wide-range of patients.
